Dr. Brian Mills recently retired as an instructor of composition, theory, electronic music, counterpoint, form and analysis, and orchestration.  He has been on the faculties of the University of Miami, Florida International University, Adams State University, Mahidol University and Assumption University in Bangkok and has had is works performed or screened in professional and collegiate settings in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia.  He earned his doctorate from the University of Miami and credits his development to his instructors: Steve Everett, Stephen Beck, Dinos Constantinides, Dennis Kam, and Morton Subotnick.​
